Chuck made a commitment to serve as a financial planner at the suggestion of another financial planner over 10 years ago. Chuck recalls, “He told me that the industry needed people with integrity.” That idea planted a seed that rapidly grew.
After 15 years in the technology industry field, Chuck decided to pursue his new career by earning his Series 7 Securities and 66 Registered Investment Advisor certifications. Soon after, he obtained his Michigan Life Insurance license.
In 2005 Chuck began to pursue his dream of owning his own financial planning business and in doing so he brought aboard the team at LPL Financial to assist him with his investment strategies and back office support.
In an effort to continually improve his ability to serve his valued clients Chuck has taken it upon himself to extend his financial knowledge by enrolling in the Institute of Business and Finance to pursue his MSFS degree (Masters of Science in Financial Services). During this journey he has earned 4 valuable certifications, the CAS (Certified Annuity Specialist). CFS (Certified Fund Specialist), CIS (Certified Income Specialist) and CTS (Certified Tax Specialist).
Community involvement is important to Chuck so he donates his time as team leader of the Field and Stream Team, a men’s outdoor ministry sponsored by Kensington Community Church. One focus of the team is taking kids fishing who do not have the opportunity to spend much time outdoors.
In the spring Chuck serves as coach for the Oakland Christian School varsity track team. As coach he has helped several athletes achieve success by coaching them to compete at state level competition including the 2009 state of Michigan high jump champion. In 2009 and 2011 Chuck was honored with the MIAC league Track Coach of the Year award.
Chuck is happily married to Susan, his bride of 25 years. They live in beautiful Lake Orion, Michigan, have 3 wonderful children including his oldest daughter who graduated from the University of Michigan in 2013, and his son who attends Cedarville University.
